Tx_basser That halon 32 is a real nice bow. Mine is a bear divergent, got it when they first came out. Axle to axle is 28” but the draw is the same as a bow that is 34” axle to axle because of the huge cams. We’ve been wicked warm in maine too but our big game seasons are all done. Best of luck to you

All done with the finicky stuff now just the silencers and fine tune the sight. That group is at 30 yards and yes I’m shooting at an angle to avoid shooting my wife’s car

Ivan, when I first got started in Archery back in the mid 70's, I went for lessons. The guy who owned his own pro-shop proved you didn't need fletchings on your arrows if your bow was properly tuned with the arrow. It was amazing to see him shoot. I got my bow tuned real good back then. But I still used fletchings on my arrows. GRIN

I use to shoot it a lot, but since I had rotator cuff surgery, I haven't shot it since I wasn't able to pull it back. I haven't tried it in a few years ever since someone I know got me interested in shooting a TC Renegade???

I've been lucky and only ever had one deer jump my string. It was a big buck and totally my fault! He came running in to me I'm guessing someone jumped him. He caught wind of me and slammed on the brakes turned and was circling me with that stiff legged walk. I knew he was on high alert. He didn't see me in the treestand and I drew back knowing he was 35 yards and settled the pin behind his shoulder. At the shot he did the duck to run and my arrow sailed harmlessly over his back. Had I waited a bit for him to calm down I'm sure he would have turned and walked past me and being a little less stressed.

Clean kill or a clean miss nothing else will do

Re: Jumping the string...it's a real thing (sound travels faster than an arrow my friend)
I think the spool of bow string material was bad, no joke my bow is 28” ata and I’d adjust everything back with in specs and make sure the timing marks were spot on and go shoot in my yard to make sure everything was a ok the next day I’d shoot and the arrow wasn’t hitting the target like it should. So I pull it the steel rule and she’d be a extra in longer ata. A whole inch! So I bought a new spool of string material and made a complete set and presto nothing has changed but unfortunately I didn’t realize what was going on until it was rifle season. So I put it down and grabbed out my trusty 300wsm to finish the season. I actually gained 12 fps with the new string. The reason I make my own strings and cables was I had ordered a set from a reputable bowyer. The first set the did broke a set of limbs because the string was an inch too short even after it was untwisted same with the second second set too I was pissed so I got the books and all tha bla bla, built my own string jig and I’ve been making my own stings and cables for 11 years using bcy fibers. The string material was the -x with halo for serving.
