I remember when the Department of Game was changed to Department of Wildlife in 1987. The stated purpose was to remove the agencies purpose from hunting as most residents of Washington don't hunt. Since then, the progressives banned hunting bears with bait; They banned hunting with hounds for bears and cougars; They banned trapping; and they're really just getting started. The introduction of wolves is really about eliminating the need for hunting to control population numbers of deer and elk.

I'm done with the state of washington!! Lived here for 30 years and it's been a steady decline for opportunity and game populations. Retiring in July 2022 and then...???

I spent my first 38 Years on the Wa Coast, Moving here to North Idaho 11-12 Years ago was the best decision i have ever made, my only regret is that i didn’t move here sooner. Western Wa was an AWESOME place to grow up when i did in the 70s through the 80s to early 90s, Then it started to Change, and it continually changed for the Worse. I could go on n on, but it truly depresses me to think about it, It is a Beautiful State that is POORLY Ran.
