Another Yankee from Vermont

I am no newcomer to muzzleloader, in fact I worked for Thompson Center back in the 80’s , but I have learned more from Lewis in the last two years than I thought I could. Thank you  I moved to Vermont 7 years ago to teach and spoil my two grandsons. It’s a great place to live if you don’t mind winter too much. Very few people here in Southern Vermont, lots of woods to walk and hunt in, and the cold winters keep most of the “riff raff” out.
Keep up the videos Lewis, we enjoy them greatly.

South Dakota is on my short list of places to visit next summer. What is your best month weather wise? I’m thinking about September.
Wife and I want to see Rushmore before the “woke” crowd take it down!
We used to live in Colorado so we are not complete rookies.

September is a great choice. Still summer with cooler nights. Where in Colorado do you live? I live in Lemmon, SD a small town on the North Dakota border 100 miles west of the Missouri River.

It is 400 miles from Denver to Rapid City.
