Customer wanted a Remington 700 in 250 Savage.

.250 Savage! Must be a learned gent of some vintage and sense 
I couldn’t see too many youngsters interested in a fine (but modest) cartridge like the .250-3000.....

Now that is a very beautiful looking rifle. You dont hear much about any quarter bores these days let alone a 250 savage though I have seen one or two encore rifles in that chambering.
