2021 Whitetail Bucks

My Dad and i both got our Deer this year, nothing big, But both are DARN GOOD Eating  Both were harvested with our Centerfire rifles

Great stuff mate, how do you rate the different big game animals for eating?

Are you a bear hunter/eater at all?

I would put Elk at the very top of the List, Whitetail Deer 2nd, Mule Deer & Blacktail Deer 3rd

I have eaten a lot of Black Bear over the years, I like it in Sausage type stuff, Like Breakfast, Summer Sausage, and even Jerky is Good The key with Bear is to get one in the High Mountain Country, Away from Spawning Fish, Garbage Etc., Bear that comes from the High Country is Good eating! They eat a Lot of Grass, and Berries. Lowland Bear that are around Rivers and People can get NASTY, They will eat about anything, And they smell about like a Garbage Dump

Sorry for the multiples every one! Still figuring out how to add pics. Any ways i got drawn for multiple deer tags so here’s 2 of my deer. Definitely not my biggest but I have to agree with Lewis definitely good eating. They’re both buttons so but I couldn’t tell across the field
