What do you carry in your possibles bag
My "possibles" bag is a small one strap pack and it is always ready to go except for the speed loaders used that day. Always in it is a small pouch with just about every tool I need to fix my rifle on the spot. In it are the following: A T/C 3 way tool for removing the wedge and nipple, a nipple pick, extra flints and nipples, a piece of flattened lead to hold the flint in the jaws(a piece of leather also works), a 4 way screwdriver and a small multi-tool, a jag for 45, 50 and 58, some patches, and a worm (patch remover). I also keep a square of heavy cloth, about 12"x12" that is waterproofed with Camp Dry in case it rains or snows while I'm out and about with the flintlock. I also have an extra pan primer that I throw in just in case I lose the one in my pocket.
I usually have a snack or two (or 3) in there also. Something like a trail mix and always some jerky and some type of snack cracker or granola bar.
I have a water bottle attached to the side of the pouch.

I like those T/C wedge puller/nipple wrench tools.
I keep things like the ball puller, worm, and an extra cleaning jag wrapped inside a leather pouch, which goes inside the shooting bag, exception being rifles that have a large enough patch box to carry such tools wrapped in oil cloth.
I also like the Opinel folding knives, an ancient French peasants knife design.

One thing I forgot to mention is a medium size nail that I use for knapping my flint.
I use about a 6 or 8 penny common nail and file off the point then put the nail in a vise so the end is sticking up about 1/8". Then I take the edge of a file and file a small "step" into the side of the nail. This give allows for the nail to set on the edge of the flint so I can tap the head with a hammer and chip off a small portion of the flint edge making it nice and sharp

also a wallet with knapping hammer/turnscrew, extra flints, vent pick.
the antler stub has a hole bored through it with a roll of lubed patch strip. i pull it from the center of the roll and it feeds out like kleenex from a box.
also in my bag is a piece of chert big enough to use on the back of the patch knife blade for a fire starter. in a cap tin i have some char cloth. am sure from the weight at the end of the day that there is a ton of other stuff but can't think of what right now.
oh yes a small mirror for signaling. works good for getting the attention of my hunting partner silently.
