Nice. I'd have been happy to drop the hammer on him too. I've been on 3 western elk hunts and never had the opportunity to shoot one.

Just got the 2022 Big Game Guide in the mail today.
It says method of take fduring muzzleloader season for elk is .50 cal. or larger.
Looks like someone at CPW finally got some sense.

I forgot to mention that some years ago, one of the Commiefornia transplants that ran CPW, changed the method of take for Elk during muzzle loader season, from .50 cal to .54 cal. I guess there was enough flak, that the idiot finally changed it back to .50 cal or larger for elk.
