.54 cal. Lyman trade rifle
Bought new 20+years ago, about 100 shots through it. Seems to shoot round balls pretty good. Bought some .45 cal conicals, 2 different brands, they both freefall to the bottom. What size do i need to order, how do i measure the bore. I would really like to get the i bullet mold for it? Any thoughts would be appreciated, ty..

Shorty, probably get a good set of calipers, the digital calipers aren't very pricey, and very accurate.Shorty wrote:Bought new 20+years ago, about 100 shots through it. If you are looking to shoot conical, you also have a rifled barrel, your conical is probably going to have to be something like .541/.543.
