At 70, best year ever!
I turned 70 this past fall, a milestone. All of my old hunting buddies are either dead or moved away, I was considering giving up deer hunting. It’s getting too hard to get a deer out of the thick woods here in Vermont, and did I mention it is very steep in most places I have permission to hunt. But when the leaves fall off the trees here, something clicks in my brain and I can’t resist the urge to grab a rifle and get out there, usually alone.
In the rifle “buck only” season, I was lucky enough to find and shoot a nice fat 5 pointer who was chasing does, and last week in the “muzzleloader late season” I was able to take this nice big fat doe. I had help with getting the doe out, but the Jetsled I bought recently made both drags easier.
No quitting here, I am already looking forward to turkey season next spring!
If I could figure out how to post a picture, I surely would.

Hi RB,
Just go to "OFF TOPIC" thread. I posted instructions for adding IMAGES/PICS. You can print it out. After a couple times it's very easy.
BTW: Great deer season you had. Congratulations. I'm 74 and still hunt with my sons, so you're to young to quit
