I bought an old jukar Kentucky muzzleloader that some one built from a kit in the '70's just to hang on the wall in my old farm house. It had never been fired, so I was like "What the hell" and bought the supplies and let her rip. I cant hit the broadside of a barn with it yet but watching youtube I am learning a lot and expect to do better. I found Lewis on youtube and I have to say that I am completely amazed at what these guns can do. He's got me searching for an old T/C Renegade or Hawken and I am very grateful for his videos. Pleased to be here. I have been bitten by the bug.

As a young man back in the mid 60's had me a 1964 Corvair convertible. Loved that vehicle.

It's all about experimenting with the right amount of powder and projectile. Find out what the twist is. If it's a slow twist, a patched round ball is best, if it's a fast twist, then conicals would probably be best. Enjoy and have fun...yo'll getter dun.
