Re: Spring turkey central Florida
Congratulations to you all and nice turkeys!
Considering moving out of Colorado to Florida. Don't have to shovel snow.

I’ve been here my entire life and really have enjoyed it but unfortunately where I live has become so overpopulated it’s absolute yuppieville , I live on 30 acres and what used to be all my hunting grounds is now subdivisions and the people call the cops every time we shoot, cops finally quit responding I would recommend the Florida panhandle even though it seems to be a magnet for hurricanes but at least there’s some room to breath still a lot of big public lands great for hunting and fishing, Defuniak springs is a great area, Econfina Springs area is beautiful and anywhere around the Apalachicola national forest is nice .

Re: Spring turkey central Florida
Hey TD thank you I use 90 gr of Swiss FFg a BPI 3” pre slit wad called unwhite lightning and I’m not sure how many ounces of shot but I fill the wad up with Lawrence brand copper plated #6 and a quarter inch cork wad over it, someone said I had to have an over powder card but I’ve never used one before, my buckshot load is the same but I use 80 grains of 2f and the same unwhite lightning 3”shot wad and 4buck or 1buck and a thicker fiber wad over the shot , if you Google ballistic products you can get all that stuff from there
