Good morning. New member - Jcast here. Recently renewed my interest in all thing black powder - building my first Traditions St. Louis Hawken kit. Pics follow. Just received my 2nd kit - Traditions Mountain Rifle. I am looking forward to building my skills and creating an heirloom worthy of passing on to 1 of my 3 daughters.

I will post the build here as well as the bs-bp forum for anyone that would like to follow along and assist me with advice, coaching and wisdom sharing. I really enjoy the process and learning from members of the forum.
