Over powder patch
The other day I tried using an over powder patch as Idaho demonstrated on YouTube. I was shooting a T/C Renegade 54 using a 530 PRB over 70 grains of Goex. My accuracy was garbage. I did away with the over powder patch and did much better with the plain PRB. Once I get sighted in and know exactly where the point of impact is hitting I'll try the over powder patch again.

Re: Over powder patch
Have you tried the felt wads?
I would give those a go and see what happens.

Re: Over powder patch
Yesterday after adjusting my sights my accuracy was much better. My point of impact group was three inches at 50 yards. I was shooting a PRB over 70 grains of Goex 2F. I'm ready for deer hunting on Saturday.

Jerry how’d you make out hunting? I’ve got a 54 new englander I’ve been playing with. I also tried the over powder patch with same results. I’m going to the range at some point today to see if I can cut my group size down any
