As for the Sights, I can say with certainty that High quality sights make a WORLD of difference, Almost every Rifle i own has high quality target type sights on them since i mostly shoot Target/Benchrest. Sorta like i have always said about a High Quality Trigger, a Rifle’s Accuracy is only as good as the Trigger in it allows. These Set Triggers on these Old Side Hammer Rifles are incredible to say the least, they are a MAJOR Player in how i am able to shoot these old guns I have Bix’ N Andy Ball Bearing triggers in my Rem 700 Centerfires
