New To Muzzle Loading
SUBJECT: New To Muzzle Loading
If you've never fired a muzzle loader or are relatively new to muzzle loading and are just interested in finding out more about them this is the place to ask. Inlines, sidelocks, or smokeless, all questions are good ones!

Re: New To Muzzle Loading
Hi
I am new to roundball, but have shot conicals for some time.
Now obtained a 24"twist 50 cal, and my patches have holes in them.
.490 ball 13 thou cotton, lubed with beeswax and softener.
Advice please, 65grains 1.5fg, 1.5"group at 50 m, but fliers.
Thanks
Best Regards
Johan Smit

To be more specific, the rifle is an Ardesa Deerhunter.
I tried to paste a photo of the patch, but no success.
Thank you.
