WOW! Desperate Buyers Showing Up At Auctions....
Watching several online auction with muzzle loaders, and buyers are desperate to buy!
Used Thompson .50 rifles that were being bought for $200-$300 a year ago, are now being bid up to $500-$600 and more!
The same goes for CVA, Traditions, Lyman, etc.

When the country is in a state of panic and there are many millions of new gun owners it's hard to get the ammo, powder and bullets you want in the centerfire world so they start gravitating to the ml & bp world. This sport gets it's spikes, but for most gun owners this world of old tech requires more than just enough mental capacity to stick in a cartridge and pull the trigger which is more than most want to deal with. Someday hopefully someday it will come back to where there is plenty of ammo of all kinds then the ml world will calm down and these people will quit buying all the powder & caps and go back where they came from. I wish we never got a ml season in Montana as that has caused a great problem getting components due to the new shooters in the last 6 months.

I have said it before. Previously, they had 4 years to stock up on cheap ammo, guns, powder, primers, caps, etc.
Anyone with an ounce of sense saw what was coming down the pike. It wasn't the pandemic that caused all of this. Everyone knew, once the democrats get power, there is going to come a shit storm.
Prior to Obama, there was 8 years!
You snooze, you lose.

Mustang,
Right on Right on! I'm with you not one of those running around in a frantic. If you were too stupid to key into it before Obama's first election and still didn't wake up then you deserve what you got!

It’s not just muzzleloaders. Every single thing is more expensive than it was a year ago and yes, the global shutdowns and anti business actions of Bidens administration are largely to blame. IMO
