Swabbing solution
OK guys I like to know what you use for swabbing between shots at the range.
Myself I carry a small spray bottle with a 50/50 mixture of Windex and 91% alcohol. One wet and one dry patch. This is what I use for both inlines and sidelocks. Except my flintlocks. For those I shoot black powder and I swab with a damp spit patch both sides.

I use hoppes #9 plus mixed 50/50 with isopropyl alcohol. It works really well and I’m quite happy with the clean up at the end of the day. Also ballistol mixed with water seems to do a good job too

Plain ol' blue windshield washer solution was what recently departed ML enthusiast Cayugad used for decades.
Being this is an Inline ML thread, do not use water soluble liquids when using Blackhorn 209 powder. Believe me, I tried doing so and had subpar results. Same with bore preservatives...... no water soluble oils, if Blackhorn 209 powder is your bread & butter powder.
In short, go to the Blackhorn 209 blackpowder website for detailed reasons on what / what not to use.
