Accurate way to measure...lol

Got a guy over on FB wanting to know what caliber his ML is. Has a picture of his tape measure across the bore.
I told him you can't measure to 3 decimal places with a tape measure. That bore could be anywhere from a .50, .54, .58.
Now if you think that's something, you should see all the folks telling him what size bore it is by that tape. WOWSER!
