Thompson Center Patriot .45 Cal
I took my TC Patriot .45 Cal out today for an accuracy test, This thing FLAT OUT Shoots

Target is exactly 30 Yards with my Leica Rangefinder

3 Shot Group, WICKED ACCURATE for a Pistol, I have never considered myself great with a Pistol, But i can definitely shoot this one
The front sight is helping me a BUNCH, it is very similiar to my Globe front sights on my Rifles

Right at 950 Fps, Not bad for a measly 25 Grains of Powder and 8” inches of usable barrel Length

Patches look AWESOME

Trying to find these patches is no easy task, they really blend in with this Ground

I also did a Penetration Test in a Block of Firewood, I wouldn’t want hit with one of these!

Is yours a .45 or a .36 Cal?
T.C. Patriot
This is one of the BP guns I have. I haven't shot it much yet but maybe I can change that soon. Your target is awesome! I will not ever achieve that but I'll have fun making smoke and thunder at the range!

You can achieve it Mark!

I try... but my vision isn't as sharp as it was. I'm 71... lots of things are not like they used to be! :00: Its not that I can't find the target its just it has gotten a bit more fuzzy. I'll be sure to comment about my next range trip. I've got to get some trigger time with the Hawken, the Patriot, and the 1860 .44 cal. That will be a busy cleaning effort!
