Not done playing with it yet. Next step is to bed the lock plate then remove the hammer heat and bend it. I noticed my lock plate is only really touching at the front and back. It bends in the middle when I tighten it. To remedy this for the season I made a brass washer from the base of a 5.56 rifle case. Basically it slides over the lock screw between the lock and the wood. Spacer I guess.

There’s always something to tinker with
my cva mountain rifle hawken style kept rolling the powder bolster, the standard #11 nipples are too soft and would start deforming after about 10 shots which caused the drum to move and miss fire, hang fire no fire so I went to the muskets to fix that shoots great now!
