CVA OPTIMA TRIGGER WIEGHT?????WOW

Ok just to let you folks know I am a target pistol fanatic meaning I have 9+ encore/ contender wildcat handguns, trigger wieght right around 2+ # no problem. Now come the optima rifle I didnt really pay too much attention to it till now as I'm doing load development for a elk hunt  so I check this rifle out and its breaking at 1# 4oz this is insane for a hunting rifle now I don't care if I'm shooting off a table but in the woods drawing  down on a elk you had better know what your target is or you are in trouble.  I will be sending this rifle back after elk season.
