Bullet/Bore Sizing Empty Bullet/Bore Sizing

Post by SJHANSEN94 28/07/22, 07:05 am

Hi fellas, needing to pick some brains on selecting a mold and the bore sizing for my T/C renegade, I mostly shoot round ball so bullet to bore with a pure lead bullet is new to me. my bore mics out at .502.5 for lands and .512-.513 for groves. I've sized bullet to bore for inlines with jacketed bullets but never pure lead. Hopefully you guys can steer me in the right direction here.

I'd just get a 490 mold and use different patch combinations till you get where you wanna be.

Depend on what you doing with it I'm assuming hunting where you might need a follow up shot if you can I'd probably go 1-2 thou under should be good for accuracy and easy loading with a fouled bore so start with the .501 and if it's to tight you can size it down a tad more
